An old website that was a source of some pain & aggravation is no longer. Restaurant recommendations (from someone nobody had ever met) to way-too trendy, expensive, and sketchy places are no more. The directions won't land you in outer Mongolia.
For those of you who know what I'm talking about, check out the new site. It's really not half bad. I'm still so grateful that we've moved on, but...
I'm glad for them, and I'm glad that I'm glad! God is good and is in the business of renewing everything. Even bizarre websites and grumpy bloggers.
Woot!

Wow, that's a considerable improvement. It even has pictures of real people (not stock photos of strangers).
But one thing -- "Georgia Tech UNIVERSITY" ???
YEARGH!!!!!
You will not believe who authored the "streaking to enter the magic circle bit". But then, maybe you already know. I like improvement.
Gaines, I can't believe I missed the GT U silliness. Or would that be the U of GT? Ugh. Waaayyy too close to U(sic)GA for my comfort.
"Trivia question: there are only 4 other Division 1 schools that don't include..."
NOOO!!! (sounds of popcorn being thrown at television)
And Patricia, I did know who it was... it actually wasn't too bad to begin with (I got to read the first draft at a staff meeting) but it got pretty badly mangled in the editing process.
Onward & upward, my friends! :)
Hey, they fixed "GTU" ... at least one of them.
FYI.
Well, if Virginia Tech is officially "VTU," why can't we be "GTU?"
Oh, wait. I know why. Because that sounds STUPID. And because Virginia Tech sucks! WOOOOOTTT! GO JACKETS!!!
Can you believe how weird the ACC standings look right about now? Since when did anyone expect to see Wake Forest at the top of the Atlantic division and us (not because we don't deserve it, just because Virginia Tech cheats and Miami are thugs) at the top of the Coastal?
